The Essence of Eco-Friendly Products

For over 31 years, being eco-friendly has been a primary goal and at the heart of NAPCO’s business operations and manufactured products. The naturally eco-friendly rigid paperboard base of most products typically consists of fully recycled paper from 100% post consumer waste. Whenever possible, any excess or scrap materials are recycled (we’ve been recycling for over 30 years) and NAPCO offers recycling programs for employees, so everyone has a part in environmental conservation at NAPCO.

To further environmental sustainability, we encourage our customers to choose print finishing options that include recycled and Forest Stewardship Council Certified paper, vegetable-based inks and water-based coatings.

Forest Stewardship Council Chain-of-Custody Certification

NAPCO has received its Chain of Custody Certification from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), which provides a comprehensive, documented system of tracking certified paper materials from well-managed wood forests. The goal of the FSC is to identify management practices that most successfully sustain timber resources while maintaining the ecological viability of forests.
